As Product Manager of STLA-Brain Core Platform Service within the Software Organization, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of your product by communicating the business value, vision, and product roadmap. You will be collaborating closely with cross functional product and business stakeholders and other product managers to ensure the platform supports the needs of all stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define Objectives and Key Results, product themes and features.
• Prioritization of the product backlog to meet all stakeholder needs.
• Ensures the product backlog is transparent, visible and understood.
• Contributes to the product vision and roadmap.
• Collaborates with the team to detail features with acceptance criteria and business value.
• Builds relationships with key stakeholders, users and other influencers.
• Continuously researches industry developments, new market trends and understands how our products are performing with current customers.
• Uses business cases to make the case for new products/technology.
• Considers flexibility and scalability as core attributes of the platform.
• Works cross functionally with other product areas within the Software Organization and across the enterprise.
• Willingness to travel to Europe as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, computer, information technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience working with Agile teams.
• Background in product management of automotive middleware products a plus.
• Experience and understanding of software integrations with embedded software and hardware.
• Experience with software product development and lifecycles, including agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Electrical, computer, information technology or equivalent.
• Experience working with services-oriented architectures.
• Experience in Architecting, Developing Software, or electrical systems for the automotive industry.
• Experience working in a scaled Agile Environment
• A software development background with experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, Python)
• Experience designing and developing software in embedded systems with Autosar, Linux or QNX operating systems.
• Strong relationship building skills including the ability to relate constructively to all levels of an organization.
• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional team with designers, coders, integrators, and business teams.
• Outstanding skills in presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
