Position Overview:
As a System/Software Test Engineer at Bolgatty Technologies, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our integrated software meets the established requirements. Your main responsibilities will be to perform software qualification tests to verify compliance with software specifications and detect any undetected errors before delivery to the customer or as part of system-level testing. This position requires a strong background in automotive technology and familiarity with key testing tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Qualification Testing:
- Conduct software qualification tests to ensure compliance with software requirements and standards.
- Perform tests to detect and identify any undetected errors or inconsistencies in the integrated software.
- Work closely with software developers and system engineers to understand software requirements and design test cases accordingly.
- Test Design and Execution:
- Design test plans and test cases that comprehensively cover software functionality and performance.
- Use testing tools such as dSPACE and Vector Tools to execute test cases and validate software quality.
- Document test results, track defects, and report issues to the development team for resolution.
- Collaboration and Compliance:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system architects, and quality assurance teams, to ensure thorough testing and compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure that testing processes align with ISO 26262 and ASpice guidelines, adhering to automotive best practices.
- Participate in test reviews and provide feedback to improve software quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Automotive Background: Experience in automotive software testing and quality assurance.
- dSPACE and Vector Tools: Proficiency with dSPACE and Vector Tools for software testing.
- Software Testing Experience: Experience in software qualification testing and defect management.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Control Desk or Automation Desk: Familiarity with dSPACE Control Desk or Automation Desk for test automation.
- CAN, Canoe, or FlexRay: Knowledge of CAN, Canoe, or FlexRay for automotive communication and networking.
- ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR: Understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety standard and AUTOSAR framework.
