Position Overview:
As a System/Software Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating and testing software components to ensure they work together as designed. Your role involves conducting software integration tests, debugging, and verifying compliance with the software architecture. This position requires a solid background in automotive engineering and experience with integration tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Software Integration and Testing:
    • Integrate individual software components according to the software architecture.
    • Conduct tests to ensure compliance with architecture, including interfaces, dynamic behavior, and resource consumption.
    • Identify and resolve integration issues through debugging and collaboration with development teams.
  2. Collaboration with Development and Test Teams:
    • Work closely with software developers and test engineers to ensure seamless integration.
    • Provide technical support during the integration process, including troubleshooting and debugging.
    • Participate in test planning and execution, ensuring that integration tests meet quality standards.
  3. Documentation and Compliance:
    • Document integration processes and test results to ensure traceability and compliance with standards.
    • Support safety and quality compliance by following ISO 26262 and ASpice guidelines.
    • Contribute to the improvement of integration processes and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Automotive Background: Experience in automotive software integration and testing.
  • DaVinci, Debugging, dSPACE, Vector: Proficiency in integration and debugging tools.
  • ASpice: Understanding of ASpice process framework.
  • Available to travel to Europe as needed
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Lauterbach, ECU Flashing, Compiler: Knowledge of additional integration and debugging tools.
  • AUTOSAR, MKS, ISO 26262: Familiarity with AUTOSAR, MKS, and ISO 26262 standards.
