Position Overview: As a System/Software Requirements Engineer at Bolgatty Technologies, you will play a key role in defining and documenting software requirements. You will work closely with system architects and other engineering teams to transform high-level system requirements into detailed software requirements. This position requires a solid understanding of automotive systems, ASpice standards, and experience with requirements management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specify Software Requirements:
- Translate system requirements into detailed software requirements specifications (SRS).
- Work with system architects to understand system architecture and identify functional and non-functional software requirements.
- Document software requirements in a structured manner to ensure clarity and traceability.
- Requirements Management:
- Use tools like IBM DOORS or PTC Integrity to manage and maintain software requirements.
- Ensure traceability between system requirements and software requirements throughout the development process.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date repository of software requirements.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Collaborate with software developers, system architects, and test engineers to ensure a clear understanding of software requirements.
- Participate in requirements reviews and address feedback from stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurate and complete.
- Provide guidance and support to the development team to ensure requirements are implemented correctly.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:

- Ensure that software requirements comply with industry standards and best practices, including ASpice.
- Support quality assurance and testing teams in verifying that software meets specified requirements.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance requirements management practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Automotive Background: Experience in automotive software engineering and systems.
- ASpice: Familiarity with ASpice (Automotive SPICE) process framework.
- DOORS or PTC Integrity: Proficiency in requirements management tools like IBM DOORS or PTC Integrity.
- Available to travel to Europe as needed.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Rhapsody or Enterprise Architect: Experience with system modeling tools such as IBM Rhapsody or Enterprise Architect.
